My father and I own a small window cleaning business and are looking to hire one or two people for the upcoming season. Work will be picking up for us starting next month, but for starters it will only be part time until our busy season (starts in June). We are ideally looking for someone with prior experience cleaning windows, or at least someone who has worked labor involving a ladder - ladder experience would be ideal but not required, as long as you are willing to learn; we clean mostly residentials, so mostly 2nd story, occasionally 3rd - so nothing extremely high. You will need to own a reliable car, as you would be meeting us on the job, generally starting around 8 or 9, and most of our accounts are in Kennebunk / Kennebunkport. Clean appearance preferred, and someone who is reasonably good with customers - although you wont have much contact with them other than a quick introduction, in fact this job is ideal for someone who prefers to keep their distance from others during Covid times. We will start you out with 15 per hour, and if you do well and fit in you will get a sizable pay increase by the end / start of the summer. Tips are also not rare for us and we will split them 50/50 with you. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to work outside with their hands, and there is also room to move up since my father is preparing himself for retirement and will be staying home for some jobs this summer already.
