HIRING - CHEF DE PARTIE · FREELANCE EVENT CHEFS · LINE COOKS · DISHWASHER/PREP We are a Bridgehampton based, off-premise catering company seeking full & part time team members for our 2021 season (Internships available for Culinary School Students)! We have been producing extraordinary events, ranging from multi-day musical festivals with attendance in the thousands to intimate dinner parties, in the Hamptons for over 30 years. We pride ourselves in having creative, sustainable, innovative menus and food design concepts for our discriminating ‘we’ve seen it all’ clientele. True farm driven menus, from a company truly immersed in the food community on the East End. Please send resume to [email protected] (subject line should contain position you’re applying for) Chef De Partie (Full Time, Seasonal) As Chef de Partie you are responsible for supporting the Head & Sous Chefs in our busy, Bridgehampton based kitchen, as well as working on-site at events around the East End of Long Island. Responsibilities Include: Food preparation – ability to produce own work in accordance with event deadlines and assist others.Event Load In/Out – Ensuring all product makes it on the correct vehicles to events – helping unload and set up on-site kitchen. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is a huge plus!Working Grill, Fry and/or Sauté Stations at high end events (sometimes in front of house)Proportioning & Plating FoodsMaintaining a clean work station at all times. Requirements: - Minimum of 1-year culinary experience – willing to work with young, energetic candidates who have a passion for food. Internship option available for Culinary School Students! -Flexible Schedule - Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, ability to take direction - Knowledge and practice of professional food quality & sanitation practices – Food Managers Certificate a plus - Drivers license Freelance Event Chefs (Part Time, Seasonal) Seeking well rounded, creative & talented party chefs to join us. Flexible work hours based on events schedule, mostly weekends only (but hours may become available for work in our production kitchen prior to events) Responsibilities Include: Working closely and communicating effectively with the lead chef & event captain.Prep work & platingWorking Grill, Fry and/or Sauté Stations (occasionally in front of the house) Requirements: -Professional culinary skills & a passion for great food – minimum of 3 years culinary experience preferred (Catering Experience a huge plus!) -Reliable transportation – Due to late evening shifts in varying locations where public transportation may not be available -Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, ability to work under-pressure & multitask -Knowledge and practice of professional food quality and sanitation practices Prep/Dishwasher (Full & Part Time Available, Seasonal Position) Seeking dishwasher/ prep help for our 2018 season at our fun & fast paced Bridgehampton headquarters, as well as occasionally on-site at events around the East End of Long Island. Our candidate believes in being punctual, providing the rest of the staff with assistance where needed, and supporting our busy kitchen in any necessary aspect. Responsibilities Include: Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, food production surfaces & office areas a whole – including scrubbing, sweeping, mopping & trash removal.Food PreparationOrganizing & restocking storage areasEvent Load In & Out - Helping set up on-site kitchens as well as prep & plate for high-end, fast paced events. Requirements: -Experience in similar positions – but willing to train the right candidate. -Taking pride in this most important kitchen position -Ability to stand for long hours, in a hot environment and lift up to 30 lbs -Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, ability to work under pressure and multi-task. -Knowledge and practice of professional food quality and sanitation practices -Willingness to work in a team -Be able to communicate clearly & effectively -Flexible Schedule (Weekends Required) -Drivers License a Plus
