Care for Lake St. Clair! Join your community and help clean our shorelines, advocate for our natural resources, and kick-off the summer.
The St. Clair Shores Waterfront Environmental Committee (SCSWEC), in conjunction with the Jefferson Yacht Club (JYC), continues to lead the city's annual community effort in protecting its beaches and shoreline against water pollution along Lake St. Clair. The Clean-up celebrates its 26th year in continuous effort. Our commitment to promoting better water quality, a cleaner, safer lake, and a greater public awareness remains at the forefront of our civil responsibilities in waterfront stewardship.
