Times are tough but we are still looking to hire great people. PICK-UP TRUCK PREFERRED We have not reduced any hours or laid anyone off. We have full-time work available for those who want to work hard. JOB SUMMARY: Perform all work necessary to maintain our apartment community in clean and presentable condition and assist in minor maintenance responsibilities. This includes performing the work (himself-herself) and with others. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: -Maintain apartment grounds free of trash and debris. -Maintain apartment landscaping, including water and raking. -Maintain swimming pool in a clean condition and keep the required chemicals in the proper balance. -Maintain public facilities, including laundry rooms, bathrooms, club room, foyers and stairways in a clean and safe condition. -Perform all work necessary, which includes cleaning and other minor repairs to make-ready a unit for occupancy. -Assist in moving heavy objects that require two persons to move them. -Make minor repairs to the exterior of the building as required. -Changing air conditioning filters. -Assist with the installation of appliances. -Maintaining exterior lighting, which would include changing light bulbs. -Maintain and make all necessary repairs to parking areas. -Work with all Company personnel. -Make repairs to fencing as needed. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: -Must be able to work on weekends. -Must be able to be available for on-call duties. -Must have a valid Texas Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. -Must be able to travel to various work sites in personal work vehicle. Vehicle must have proper liability insurance and be able to transport tools, parts and necessary equipment to perform work.
