Job description Become a Patriot Mover! Do you have what it takes? Do you want to hang out with a great crew all day while staying physically active? Yes, we work rain or shine, hot or cold, but we rock at it and we are fun to be around. New to moving, not a problem—where there’s a will, there’s a way. Years of experience—come show us what you have and teach the newbies a few tricks. We are open to all areas of expertise in household moving, such as packing, loading, unloading, inventory, you name it, we want it. Now, fun aside, we also need you to be a hard-worker, show up to work on-time, and look presentable. Prove to us that you can think on your toes, solve problems, think ahead to avoid issues, and the possibilities for growth are endless. Aside from the display of physical ability, we also need you to be respectful of our client, their belongings, and their property. Customer service and respect towards clients and fellow employees is a must. What We Offer: • Pay $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience • Great tips from happy customers…sometimes they will even feed you! • Workers Compensation • Performance based raises and bonuses • Paid vacation and select holidays • Overtime after 40 hours Requirements: • Must be in good physical condition…we already talked about this. • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that varies day-to-day. • Must have own reliable means of transportation. Start and finish times vary, so this is important! • Must have valid driver license. We operate 26ft box trucks and trailers, so those who can drive are preferred. • Must be willing and able to work with others. • Must be able to communicate with customers, complete paperwork, calculate times and cost, and collect upon completion of job. • Must practice proper lifting techniques. It doesn’t matter how strong you are if you don’t do things right. Work smarter, not harder! • Must follow all verbal and written company policies and directions. • Must be groomed, clean, and well behaved around customers—your mouth and self must be clean. • Must be able to assemble and disassemble furniture, whether it be verbal or written directions. Basic knowledge of tools is a must. • Must have high school diploma or equivalent and be eligible to work in the U.S. • Must be at least 18 years old to move furniture, or 21 years or older to drive and operate equipment. • Must be a non-smoker…all kinds of smoking. We are a drug-free workplace and prefer not to stink up trucks and customer’s belonging and homes.
