The Equinox occurs when the Sun intersects with the Earth's Equator every March and September. This moment marks a zero-point that creates equal day and night as the sun's light streams to us at exactly 90 degrees. This equinox zero-point in March is a reset switch that activates SPRING in the Northern Hemisphere and Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. Our Practice in the Park ( 3-4 pm)Mindful Breath With a centering breath, connect to the grounding energies of Mother Earth. So awesome in the park! Yoga set With moving asanas coordinated with the rhythm of the breath, our set will gently create space in our bodies and minds for receiving the Equinox Renewing energies. Balance Breath Meditation Meditate with the balancing Equinox energies with Alternate Nostril Breathing which balances the right and left hemispheres of the brain and the Subtle Energy Systems in the Body. Experience deep relaxation. Savasana Bask in the Sunshine and completely relax upon the earth. Totally let go, and open to receive an abundance of spring blessings. A glorious experience with the healing sounds of crystal singing bowls. What To Bring Pack yoga mat, mask, water, and blankets, and pillows for comfort, especially so you can completely be cozy, lying down during Savasana.
