Established Bathroom Partition & Specialty Construction firm is seeking a Driver/Apprentice to contribute to our team. Pay is $14 per hr to start a Full-time position Qualifications - Ideal candidate must have a clean driving record for use of company vehicle, which is required daily. (example - no DUI in the - last 5 years) - Proficiency with smart phone applications. A cell phone with camera is required. - Must have reliable transportation to the warehouse in Altadena, CA. - Must be willing and able to lift items in excess of 75 lbs. While larger items may require multiple people, most pickups and deliveries will be made alone. - Must be open to working around Southern California. We usually stay within 50 miles of our warehouse, but we occasionally have projects up to 150 miles away. Scope of work - Begin with the pickup and delivery of construction materials. - Insure that all orders match packing slips. - Document any issues immediately. - Present yourself in a clean and respectful manner at all times. - Our standard shift is from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary slightly based on the project requirements for that day. Off hours and Saturday work is requested occasionally. (With an off-shift bonus wage) We are looking to bring in someone that can become a vital part of our team over time. Our goal would be to train you to become a partition installer with increased responsibility over time.
