Founded in 2002, weaKnees is a small, online retailer of digital video recorders (DVRs) and products and accessories. We also perform repairs on DVRs. We are looking for a full time or part time employee to help with a variety of tasks. We are looking for a PART-TIME or FULL-TIME employee who is dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented and who thrives in an unstructured, relaxed, casual and tight-knit work environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and accurately and will be able to balance a variety of job responsibilities. Initial responsibilities include: • Light assembly, maintenance and packaging of inventory • Packing and shipping • Occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds) Future responsibilities may include assisting customers by phone and repairing customers’ equipment. An ability to interact and communicate well by phone in a customer-friendly manner is a plus. Soldering skills are also a plus, but not required (be sure to let us know if have soldering skills when you contact us). Applicant must speak fluent English and be a non-smoker. All work will be in-person and cannot be performed remotely. We are very conscious of health risks and we wear masks and distance from each other while in the warehouse. Our warehouse is located in Culver City near Overland and Jefferson. Pay starts at $15/hour with merit-based increases and long-term potential. This is a daytime position (M-F 9-5). Work environment is warehouse casual (jeans, shorts). Flexible part-time hours considered with a minimum of 20 hours per week. If interested, please contact us by email.
