Landscaping Foremen & Laborers Needed

Due to ongoing growth, we are hiring Landscaping & Construction Foremen/Drivers & Crew Members for landscaping work and projects throughout Rhode Island. Turf Master Inc. is looking for Foremen/Drivers with experience in All Phases of Landscaping and leading a crew plus an active Driver's License. Crew Members need experience with a landscaping company. Foreman/Drivers must be experienced in Driving dump body trucks with equipment trailers. Bobcat, Backhoe, Loader, and/or Excavator experience is a plus. Qualifications: • Experience with a professional landscape crew/company • Ability to identify plants • Professionalism • Attention to detail • Ability to work independently • Ability to operate various tools and equipment • Ability to bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions • Good physical condition with an ability to lift 50 lbs. • Lawn installation (sod/seed/loam) experience • Mulching & Edging • Mowing, Trimming, Cleanups - Spring & Fall • Hardworking, dependable, & punctual Foremen/Drivers also must have experience in the following areas: • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record • Comfortable driving dump body truck w/trailer • Operating a commercial lawnmower/mowing crew • Strong communication skills with crew members & customers • Strong plant ID & knowledge • Ability to identify any potential or existing problems • Trimming shrubs/hedges • Mulching and edging • Grading • Proper plant installation experience • Small hardscape installations (bluestone, natural stone, pavers) experience a plus! Must be well groomed and reliable with high work ethics. Pay $15 to $18/hour for Laborers/Crew Members & $18 to $20/hour for Foremen/Crew Leaders depending on experience and performance. Bonus Incentive packages also available. Full time (40+ hours per week) with possible Saturdays + the occasional Sunday possible during the busy season.
