National Fence and Supply Co. is a local North Attleboro, MA company established since 1947, is seeking a qualified individual to join our team. We are looking for crew leaders, fence laborers and shop assistants. Full Job Description All positions must be willing to learn and be able to handle the following: • Drive company vehicles • Prepare equipment on trucks • Loading & unloading materials and equipment by hand and with a forklift when available • Must help keep the yard organized and clean • Sort and repair material as it is returned to shop • Able to take care of company equipment such as tools, work trucks etc. • Must be able to pay attention to detail, take direction and get along with others. • Candidate must be able to use good judgment and ensure that each installation or other services assigned are performed safely, correctly, efficiently, and represent the company in a friendly and professional manner. Requirements: • Applicant must have a valid driver’s license (preferred) • Must have good communication skills • Good organization habits for materials related to chain link, aluminum and vinyl. • Willing and able to lift up 75+ pounds and ask for assistance if needed. • Must be willing and able to work safely indoors/outdoors and adapt to changing weather conditions. • Must operate a forklift safely - training can be provided. Work Conditions: • Involves working outdoors for long periods of time like: Driving long distances, being on your feet long periods of time, reaching, kneeling, crouching, bending, staying alert and aware of surroundings, hearing/listening, working in precarious areas.
