Description
UD researchers in the College of Health Sciences are recruiting healthy adults between the ages of 30 and 45 to participate in a study to learn how patterns of sleep, physical activity, and diet influence heart disease risk. Non-smoking men and women with a normal blood pressure and body weight may be eligible. Participants will be asked to complete a series of tests including but not limited to: 2-weeks of activity and diet monitoring, non-invasive (ultrasound) imaging of blood vessels in the arm and leg, blood pressure monitoring, and a blood sample. The study requires 3 visits to the STAR Health Sciences Complex (~4 hours total time in the lab). Participants will be compensated for their time. For more details, please contact Michele at
