Warhammer 40k - Interested in a new Hobby?

Looking for anyone who currently plays or is interested in starting Warhammer 40k. For those who are interested in the hobby: - Warhammer 40k is a tabletop game centered on using a group of miniatures to simulate battles between two or more players. - Games can greatly vary is scale and time. Some games may take only an hour or so, while lengthy games can take place over several hours. - I've got miniatures that anyone can use for a game, if you do not want to purchase and assemble the miniatures before you've actually played. - For most games, I'll have snacks/drinks and sometimes burgers and beer. - There is a learning curve, but it'll be a step-by-step learning basis, not to be taken in all at once. For those who currently play: - I've got 2 full armies of 3k+ pts (Imperial Guard (Elysians, with some Tallarn Tanks) and Sisters of Battle) - I've got 1 additional army of around 500pts (CSM) - I have pretty limited terrain, but I do have a board and table (8th edition size though...) - Not all of my models are fully painted. I tend to spend a lot of time painting for each model. All painted models are done myself.
