A Scam Alert. Folks who use the CL classifieds. Someone will contact you,to buy your item. Says he's out of town so he will send you a check for item cost, plus a large amount money to pay the movers. The check arrives. He urgently insists you deposits it immediately so he can schedule the movers. (Dont do it) During the 3 to 5 days it takes your bank to clear a out of state check, the buyer (scammer) sends the movers by. They insist you write them a check for the moving cost. They take your item plus your check for the moving cost. A few days later your bank says the check is fake so you are out the item plus your moving money.
