Established Original Band Seeking Lead Guitarist

Established local/regional band is looking for a new lead guitarist. Our founding lead player recently parted ways for personal reasons and we are looking to fill his spot. Hoping to be ready to gig again by the end of summer. We have an extensive repertoire of original songs, from country/bluegrass to straight up rock and roll and have recorded 5 full length albums in the last ten years. We’ve developed a solid fan base throughout the northeast and are selective about the venues and festivals we choose to play. Looking for someone that can learn the basic structures and melodies of the songs while also adding their own flavor. Ability to improvise is a huge plus. We like to jam! Think Grateful Dead meets Merl Haggard meets Van Halen meets Old Crow Medicine Show? We play and write what feels good to us and we don’t lock ourselves into any specific genre. Expecting to play one or two quality gigs a month at first and will possibly take on a busier schedule in the spring/summer of 2022 if all goes well. Rehearsal space is about an hour north of Albany/ half hour east of Saratoga (More details upon reply). Looking to start working with someone ASAP as it will most likely require a fair amount of homework and practice time to get ready for live shows.
