CAMBRIDGE, MA — Nearly 70 percent of Cambridge's oldest residents have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, state data show. Thirteen percent of Cambridge residents as a whole are fully vaccinated.
Just over 8 percent of the city's residents has received just the first dose. Roughly a quarter of residents 65 to 74 are fully vaccinated, and about 43 percent have received just their first dose.
Some of Cambridge's younger residents will be eligible for the vaccine beginning April 19, when the state guidelines expand to include anyone over 16. Just over 7 percent of Cambridge residents ages 0 to 49 have received both doses.

Cambridge recorded 256 cases of the virus in the two weeks leading up to March 16. Its average daily incidence rate decreased to 16.3 from 16.7 the week before, and the positivity rate remained the same at 0.45 percent.
