Looking for a Covid-conscious way to get your child socializing outdoors? Little Buds Playpod LLC, a fully outdoor program, is now booking a Spring semester, running from March 22nd, to June 18th, 2021, and a Summer semester, running from June 21st to August 27th. Little Buds Playpod focuses on nature-based, child-led play, utilizing the park and environment around us to inform our learning and explorations. My name is Mylli (like Millie) and I have been teaching young students in the park for three years. My passion is early outdoor education and play-based, child-led exploration. I have my Master's degree in Early Childhood Ed from Brooklyn College and my NYS teaching certificate from Birth to 2nd grade. Our groups have no more than 3 kiddos, and we group similar ages together, serving children from around 2 years old, to 7 years old. We operate in Prospect Park (or another park if you're interested!) We currently have availability for... -Monday afternoons 1:30pm-4:30pm, age group undetermined, 3 spaces -Tuesday AND Thursday mornings 9am-12pm, age group undetermined, 3 spaces -Wednesday afternoons 1:30pm-4:30pm, around two years old, 2 spaces My groups usually meet for three hours to allow the children to fully immerse themselves in their surroundings and in play. Each class is $75. Possible drop-off classes may be available, once the semester is booked, and I am happy to work with your family if you're looking for something different.
