BEVERLY, MA — Coronavirus numbers in the city saw a small decrease this week.
The Department of Public Health on Thursday released the latest COVID-19 metrics in Massachusetts. On the whole, the state saw more of an increase than it has in two months.
But Beverly's numbers took a slight dip.
The positive test rate decreased from 1.49 percent to 1.39 percent, while the average daily incidence per 100,000 residents went down from 23.7 to 21.6.
There were 124 confirmed cases here in the previous two weeks, 12 fewer than last week's number.
There have been 4,217 confirmed coronavirus cases in the city since the start of the pandemic.
