Classes focus on deep lower-body stretches, such a splits, for enhanced flexiblity, joint health and balance. Practicing the splits opens the hip area, improves circulation, strenghtens lower-body and this stretch is commonly performed in many fitness activities such as dance, yoga, gymnastics, and more... the benefits of splits are endless, but mostly they help to keep you young!
Stretching (Flexiblity Exercise) is a physical exercise in which specific muscles and tendons are flexed to straigthen, or extend, a body part to its full length, an alternative form of exercise that can be done pretty much anywhere, and can be practiced daily.
