Press release from Islip School District: March 18, 2021 The students of Islip's Wing Elementary School kicked off this year's Parents as Reading Partners project on the 100th day of school, celebrating by dressing as if they were 100 years old. "The children loved coming to school dressed as centenarians and discussing how much they learned since the beginning of the school year," said Principal Michael Giacchetto.
