Looking for someone who has knowledge of architectural shingles, but will train the right person. I would like someone who knows how to do a proper stagger, valleys, flashing, boots, decking, and drying in. I'm picky and want things done without cutting corners. Experience in siding, soffit, fascia, gutters and framing are a plus. I'm more worried about quality than speed, but obviously speed is what makes more money. We work in all of Erie County but our main areas are Cheektowaga down to Brant, so you must have your own transportation to the job sites. Pay is based on your skills, speed, experience and dependability. We make the most money, but expect everything done right for that price. -We don't work as hard as other roofers. We have 2 Equipters and rooftop delivery. Also we don't do cedar shakes unless its a rare occasion. Maybe 1 a year but haven't done one in a couple years. We don't take on crap undesirable and don't work in the city. -No druggies or drunks. We all have our evil but there’s a time and a place for everything. We are professionals and I want to act that way. -Must be able to work Monday- Friday from start to finish (usually 8am until 5pm). Usually about 40 hours a week with overtime after 40. Also we don’t work on weekends but if you want extra work we have it. I have too much work already and have never laid people off from lack of work. -Have your own hand tools but will give a couple weeks to get if needed. (Belt, hammer, knife, snips, tape) Pay is from 20 – 37 depending on knowledge, speed, consistency, motivation, and experience. I am not afraid to pay, but you have to be good and obviously prove it. Pay goes above this if it is warranted. We are not looking to sub work out, or receive subbed out work.
