Seal Coating Crew: -Use of weed whacker, push blower and/or wire broom to clean surface prior to application of seal coat or crack fill material. -Preparation of surface utilizing an asphalt crack router to open surface cracks prior to filling. -Application of crack fill material utilizing a crack seal kettle and a wand. -Application of seal coat material utilizing brooms. -Manual labor including shoveling, brooming, and raking. -Able to work in a team environment and follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site. -Perform other duties as assigned. Description of Job: Most of our jobs are sealcoating driveways for asphalt preservation. Because weather heavily dictates our schedule, flexibility is necessary. This work will often be in the sun with a good amount of physical labor. This is not a job for someone who does not do well with hard work and high temperatures for extended periods. Due to unpredictable weather, some weeks might require 60 hours of work while others require much less. You will also be required to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. With that said, it can also be a very casual and therapeutic job with the ease of getting headphones in, putting your head down, and working on a great summer tan!
