Install alternator

I help Bob Short get by. Friend and unofficial next of kin. He has no transportation to go to store or doctor. I bought alternator. I'm out of town and too old to put in easily anyway. Bob is 86 I'm 73. Need help! hopefully someone close and reasonable. How about $40 to install alternator? Call Dennis 281-202-4161 or call Bob short at 346- 300-9283 he doesn't answer the phone consistently. Repair is on 1995 Dodge window van v6. harder to reach than pick up.
