Description
The Addiction, Health, and Adolescence Lab at the University of Pennsylvania is recruiting children (3-8 years old) and their caregivers (adults 18+ years old) for a study about the relationship between children’s and caregiver’s activity and behaviors in daily life.
This study will involve an introduction session conducted online lasting approximately 2 hours followed by 14 days of daily surveys on your smartphone when you and your child wear activity monitors. Before and after the daily surveys, a member of our study team will drop off study equipment to your residence (~10 mins) to take you and your child’s height and weight.
To be eligible, you should meet the following criteria:
Be 18 years or olderHave a personal smartphone and computer with reliable internet accessHave a child 3-8 years old living with youRead English fluentlyWilling to complete 14 days of daily surveysWilling for you and your child to wear activity monitorsWilling to videorecord your child brushing their teeth daily for 14 days
You will be compensated $20 for completing the baseline survey and $10 per visit for equipment drop-off/pick-up. Participants may earn up to $140 for the daily surveys (depending on completion rates). A bonus of $25 will be available for completing 85% of the daily surveys and a bonus of $50 will be available to participants who wear the activity monitor for at least 7 days.
