My family and I recently lost absolutely everything and are on the streets.. I'm not going to go in detail about what caused it (before you assume, it wasn't anything in our control).. I tried calling churches, 211, etc and kept being told my only option is finding a shelter to sleep at at night (most have been full) and we'd all end up in a different one since none have openings for all of us to be together.. 11 am is our check out at the motel a family friend put us up in.. And even living out of a motel isn't cheap! But it's better than nothing! We live off a social security check that's been held for the last few months and under review). It's not much of a income, but it's something. I'm not asking for money or a hand out. I'm just asking if anyone can lead me in the right direction or know of any resources? I do cleaning work, nanny, and pet work, if you have any work you can offer.. I'd prefer to work, rather then given a hand out.
