Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Ensures loads are secure. Off-loads equipment or materials, may use hand tools or operate equipment to assist with unloading. Requires commercial drivers’ license (CDL). Knowledge of small engine repairs and DOT Regulations is required. May assist with tool and vehicle check-out. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: • Deliver freight and materials to various locations including but not limited to Wyoming and Northern Colorado. Assist workers in loading and unloading trucks. • Manage proof of delivery paperwork, invoices, and receipts from customers and/or suppliers. • Check mechanical aspects of vehicles. Conduct daily DVIR of all vehicles driven. Maintenance of vehicles and shop equipment. • Repair faulty equipment that can be fixed at PC Shop. • Maintains material inventory records, tracks orders, receives and checks • shipments. Performs physical inventory counts, monitors re-order points. • Safe operation of boom truck as well as but not limited to backhoe, skid - loader and loader. • Keep records of all vehicle registrations, SMM stickers, as well as schedule all necessary diesel emissions inspections and DOT inspections. • Follow all safety procedures required by Pierson Concrete. • Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: • Class A CDL Required • Knowledge of concrete construction codes and regulations. • Operator certifications for various equipment (Bobcat, skidloader, Boom Crane, etc) • Ability to lift and carry objects of weights up to but not limited to 100 lbs.
