Part time help wanted. Approximately 3-4 days per week, with occasional Holidays and weekends. 6-15 hours per week. Must have valid drivers license and dependable transportation to and from work. Hours of operation are 9am-12 noon M-Sat. and 4-6 pm M-F. Work days and schedules are flexible and are determined by employees depending on availability. Skills required are the ability to work with the public, be a team worker, be self-motivated, prompt, clean, responsible, reliable and well organized. Must be thoughtful, compassionate, patient, energetic and possess a strong positive attitude towards co-workers and clients. Good work ethics and work history required. Must show ability to be efficient, thorough, and detail oriented with a true love for cats. Duties include: Kennel cleaning: Applicant must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds, clean bird cages, (doves and canaries), ability to answer phone and serve clients. Cleaning kennels requires ability to work on hands and knees, stoop, bend and cleaning litter boxes and food bowls. Basic computer skills with knowledge of Windows, Facebook and in house software (will train). Applicant must be willing to support a well organized, friendly work environment. Applicant must have a broad knowledge of cats and the ability to administer medications including sub-q fluids and insulin injections.
