Tom Auto Parts, Inc. is an auto parts distributor and ecommerce retailer. We source automotive aftermarket parts from manufacturers across the globe. We sell direct to end consumer through online marketplaces and other ecommerce channels including drop ship for other major internet retailers. Tom Auto Parts is now hiring motivated and reliable individuals for full time Order Shipping Processor positions. We are a young and rapidly growing company looking for individuals with a desire to advance. In this entry level position, you will be processing orders for shipment to customers. Compensation • $13.00 t0 $14.50 plus (depending on experience) Qualifications • Monday through Friday daytime and occasional Saturday (usually ½ day) work availability. • Education – High school Diploma. • Experience – 1+ years in warehouse environment preferred. (will train the right individual) • Language Skills – Read, write and speak English. Spanish speaking a plus. • Detail Oriented - Excellent attention to detail is imperative. • Math Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Able to use tape measure. • Computer Skills – Ability to quickly learn warehousing software programs. • Handheld Scanner experience preferred. • Communication Skills – Effective listening skills, positive attitude, follow directions • Auto parts experience is a preferred. • Warehouse shipping experience preferred. • Forklift certified is a plus. Job Duties • Work at a fast pace and maintain accuracy to meet company metrics. • Sort orders for scanning into proprietary shipping software. • Scan product against order to assure correct parts are being shipped to customer. • Weigh and measure packages then enter data into shipping software. • Complete Quality Control procedures for each order. • Package orders for safe shipment via FedEx or USPS. • Generate FedEx/USPS shipping labels and assure they are attached to correct order. • Move packaged and labeled orders to appropriate pallets. • Load pallets to FedEx and USPS trailers. • Other maintenance and housekeeping tasks as required.
