LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Art fans rejoice: The Laguna Art Museum is set to reopen next Friday, March 26.
"While the museum was closed, our staff worked remotely to offer you art and inspiration online," museum staff said in a social media post Friday. "We also planned for the day when we could safely open again, looking forward to a time when arts and culture may begin to return to normal."
The museum is reopening with several new health measure in place, including a requirement that visitors must undergo a symptom screening and no-contact temperature check.
The museum said at this time it will limit capacity to ensure social distancing is possible, offer events and programs online instead of in-person and offer advance and contactless ticket transactions.
To visit the museum, visitors are required to obtain advance tickets.
On its website, the museum asked any would-be visitor who is unable or unwilling to follow coronavirus guidance — including wearing a mask and practicing social distancing — to postpone their visit.
