DAKOTA COUNTY, MN— Seven schools in Dakota County have reported recent outbreaks of COVID-19, the Minnesota Department of Health reported Thursday.
These schools all recently reported at least five cases of COVID-19.
St. Thomas Academy in Mendota HeightsEast Lake Elementary School in LakevilleRed Pine Elementary School in EaganRosemount Middle School in RosemountRosemount Senior High School in RosemountApple Valley Senior High in Apple ValleyFarmington High School in Farmington Rosemount Senior High School and Farmington High School are the most recent adds to the list.
Holy Trinity in South Saint Paul has been removed from the list since last week.
In order to be added to the Minnesota Department of Health's list, a school must report at least five cases of a student or staff member being inside the building while infectious and within the two-week reporting period, the department said.
If a school goes 28 days with no new cases, they are removed from the list, the department said.
The list is updated every Thursday, the department said.
