Join library staff member and amateur cook Ms. Betty in her home kitchen as she explores culture through food. Each dish is made from cookbooks that you can find in the Chicago Public Library collection.
In this episode, Ms. Betty will make Capirotada, a Mexican bread pudding. Ms. Betty will compare recipes from three wonderful cookbooks - Casa Marcela, Truly Texas Mexican, and Aprovecho.
Please note that Ms. Betty will narrate this episode in both English and Spanish.
