Working band with gigs booked well into 2022 seeks experienced, versatile keyboard player to play Motown, Funk, R&B, Pop and Rock covers for weddings, corporate, club and other gigs. Ability to cover a variety of instruments on keys is very helpful. Other requirements: Available to rehearse on Tuesday evenings on Detroit's west side Pro gear and reliable transportation Available to play occasional weekday gigs (Most are on weekends, but some also on weekday evenings locally.) Available to commit to long days, especially for weddings that may have early call times and travel. Available for occasional overnight travel gigs, usually within 300 miles - once or twice/year. Must prioritize our band commitments over any other music or other commitments... Exceptions, of course, for certain family or work commitments when requested in advance. Must be able to learn new music quickly. (e.g. 3 to 5 songs within a week or two would be typical peak demand).
