Cupiens Videre Lucem—Two friends stay up all night drinking wine, awaiting the first light of dawn
Cupiens Videre Lucem—Two friends stay up all night drinking wine, awaiting the first light of dawnSean and Juliana McBride met in New York City, but Napa beckoned. They were still living in Brooklyn when their first wine (a 2007 Cabernet) was released in 2010—and they knew they had to go. They packed up their old Volvo station wagon, loaded up their baby twins and headed west. They purchased an airy warehouse in the Crusher District, now home to both Crosby Roamann and Sean W. McBride wines. Their minimal intervention philosophy is applied throughout their winemaking process, from following biodynamic practices to forgoing filtration and fining. And the result? Twenty-two wines (and counting) with ratings from 90 to 94 points.
Each wine course includes a savory food pairing. Limited, socially-distanced indoor / outdoor seating available. RSVP required.
