12-Year-Old Boy Shot At Main Event In Cobb County

Updated 4:14 p.m. Friday COBB COUNTY, GA — A 12-year-old boy was shot in the chest Tuesday night outside a Main Event bowling alley on Cobb Parkway, Cobb police said. Officers arrived to the Main Event location around 11:41 p.m. Tuesday, where they found a 12-year-old boy shot in the chest. The boy is in stable condition at the hospital as of Friday afternoon. Police arrested one suspect Friday, and two vehicles have been identified in connection with the shooting. The victim's name as well as the suspect's name have not been released. The investigation is still ongoing. A spokesperson for Main Event told the Marietta Daily Journal that those involved were not guests of the facility.
