JOIN ME FOR WORLD TAI CHI & QIGONG DAY! "Spreading Health, Calm, Peace, and Well-being across the planet!For over two decades, a quiet subtle phenomenon has grown across the planet. Each year, on the "last Saturday of April," in 100s of cities in over 80 nations, spanning 6 continents... World Tai Chi & Qigong Day mass teach-ins and exhibitions have been held around the planet all on the same day... creating a worldwide wave of Tai Chi and Qigong." - https://www.worldtaichiday.org/ THE CLASSThis class is open to all levels of Tai Chi practitioners and for those who have no experience. We will be going through a set of basic Taiji stretches and foundation movements/exercises (ji ben gong). There is ample space in the park for everyone to maintain distance. If you are wearing personal protective equipment please be mindful that parts of Taiji and qigong may require deep breathing, therefore, a face mask may pose challenges. Note: Please be aware of your ability level, as instructors are not responsible for any injuries sustained while in attendance. We suggest that beginners or those with health issues do not try to over stretch or push beyond 50%-70% of capabilities. Timing: 1 hour session Attire: Wear something comfortable to move in. Flat gym shoes work well or kung fu shoes. Age: Anyone age 14 years and older is welcome Location: Henry Frank Park, on the black top next to the basketball court. NOTE: THERE MAY BE NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS OPEN AT THE PARK FAQsAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Minimum age requirement is 14 years old. What can I bring into the event?
