Avenue5 Residential is growing and we are currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor. As the Maintenance Supervisor, it's your primary responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance operations and physical upkeep of the assigned apartment community, and for ensuring that the property is compliant with Avenue5 Residential, Inc. policies and standards, in addition to all local, state and federal regulations. The Maintenance Supervisor will also be required to assist with administration of the company risk management program, order and manage supply inventory, manage supplier relationships and performance, and supervise all other maintenance employees. You will also support Property Manager with interviewing, scheduling, reviewing, and any disciplinary action for Maintenance personnel. Over all, you will also foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other communities and associated agencies. Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair. Work with the property manager to ensure that the Avenue5 team and the property is compliant per company, ownership, state and federal policies and standards. Work with the maintenance team to insure daily maintenance tasks, such as service requests and unit make-ready (punch, paint, etc.) standards are met. Contribute to community resident retention programs. Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality. Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other communities and associated agencies. Assist with the administration of the company risk management program Order and maintain supply inventory Manager supplier relationships and performance Supervise all other maintenance associates Other responsibilities and projects designated by the property or regional manager.
