The Great Easter Vigil: A Sunrise Service- April 4th, 2021 at 7:00 a.m.
The Great Easter Vigil is the final part of the Great Triduum, and one of the most celebratory and joyful services we have in the church. Come right at sunrise to witness the empty tomb!
We start in darkness outside with the new fire. Mtr. Lisa will sing the Exsultet as we process inside and light our candles. We'll have a short series of readings and easy to sing hymns. Bring your bells for the most joyful part of the service, followed by Holy Eucharist. You won't want to miss this service, especially if you have never been to a Vigil before!
And for the first time in a year, we will have congregational singing! Yes, singing on Easter!
Wear your masks and bring your bells, because we have two Easters (last year's and this year's) to celebrate!
