Lakewood High School Chamber Orchestra partners with The Cavani String Quartet The LHS Chamber Orchestra joins The Cavani String Quartet in a performance of the powerful Shostakovich String Quartet No. 8. Join us as we discuss the the life of Shostakovich, the art depicting life under Stalin, and the power of music to heal. We will conclude with a celebratory piece by Daniel Bernard Roumain, a contemporary violinist who has worked with the LHS Chamber Orchestra using the power of music to unite communities.
