“If not me, then who…” - 6th Annual Christmas in September Poker Run “If not me, then who…” ... were the words spoken by 1LT Travis Manion, USMC just prior to his second deployment to Iraq where he was killed in action on April 29, 2007. These are the same words and thoughts spoken by countless Americans who at some point in their life, made the decision to wear the uniform of our nation’s armed forces. The Strength and Honor Motorcycle Club in partnership with the Sgt. Mac Foundation needs your help to remember those who at some point in their life said, “If not me, then who …”. Please help us raise the funds to place a Christmas wreath on the grave of every veteran buried at Gettysburg National Cemetery and Quantico National Cemetery. For a small donation you can ensure a wreath is placed on the headstone of these American veterans. The Sgt. Mac Foundation was established in memory of Marine Corps Sgt. Eric McColley, who along with seven other Marines and two Airmen gave their lives for their country while deployed to the Horn of Africa in 2006. The SGT MAC Foundation is dedicated to placing Christmas wreaths on as many veteran headstones as possible. In 2019, the SGT MAC Foundation raised over $90,000 and placed over 16,000 wreaths at Quantico National Cemetery alone. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Gray Ghost Chapter of the Strength and Honor Motorcycle club was forced to cancel its annual Christmas in July Poker Run which last year, provided a $20,000 contribution to Sgt. Mac Foundation.
