Open spot is 275 square feet, for $485/mo. Open to an artist or craftsperson. The building itself is full of artists and small businesses. Currently the studio mates are painters and fiber artists, and one sculptor. The building has 24 hour keycard access, and a secure parking lot. Fruitvale BART is a 10 minute walk away. The studio is on the 2nd floor; please note there is no elevator in this building. This is NOT a live/work space. Working during the night is fine, but crashing at the studio is not. This is a dedicated space within an open shared space, so it is not ideal for someone who needs complete privacy (like to record music). It is also not ideal for someone working with materials that give off lots of fumes (no spray painting inside, etc). Mask wearing is required until our general population is vaccinated and public health officials deem it safe to do otherwise.. M2M terms, one month deposit. Available now, can pro-rate March for immediate move in if interested. All studio mates share access to the washout sink, tea kettle, mini-fridge, and microwave.
