Agape Lawn Company is seeking a Weed & Feed Crew Member. $16-22/hour Based on Experience. Agape is growing and seeking our next spray team leader (chemical grounds applicator) for our weed control and fertilization division. You should possess or be willing to get your “chemical grounds applicators” license within 90 days of being hired. For this, you will read and study a textbook and take a proctored exam on NC State’s campus. Upon passing, you'll be reimbursed for your expenses (about $75). * The job is full-time, 45-55 hours a week, generally M-F. You must have a valid driver's license and be able to be to the equipment yard and ready to leave by 7 am each morning (2008 Cheek Road, Durham). Starting pay is $16/hr (if you have experience, this is negotiable) but you can receive raises rather quickly, if performing well. You can realistically expect to get to $22/hr in your first 90 days if you're meeting expectations. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $16.00 to $22.00 /hour depending on experience Here’s What You Need: - Reliable transportation. - Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility. - A minimum of 1 year of experience working in this field is a plus, as well as experience with the equipment we use and their proper maintenance. - Strong Communication Skills: Ability to listen/learn, receive instruction from Management, work well with others, and establish professional, amicable relationships with Agape team members and clients. - Willingness to work outside, in all four seasons. Physical fitness to lift or carry 35-80 pounds often. - Attention to detail and commitment to safety. - Dedication to adhere to and promote all Agape standards, rules, and core values. - Great work ethic and motivation to work as a team player. - Professional Presentation: always dressed in company uniform, clean, and on time.
