Dead Broke Farm is looking to hire guides / stable hands. We have part-time (7:30am - 2pm) any day(s) a week and full-time (7:30am till we finish) any day(s) a week. We offer a base pay plus tips. We offer trail rides to the public. ***You need to be a proficient rider and an experienced horse person.*** You also need to be able to interact with customers in a polite, friendly manner. Given the risks associated with taking novice riders and children out on horseback, we require anyone interested to volunteer a half-day in order to try out for a paid position. This allows us to assess your riding skills and horsemanship, and it also provides you with an opportunity to see what a typical day would be like at our farm and to meet the people you'd be working with. This is an ideal position for high school and college students who generally have the summer off and weekends available.
