Essential duties: -Door and window installation and repair -Stain-grade trim work, hang doors, drill and set door hardware, set windows, layout for stairs and common rafters, -Maintain a clean work area at all times; maintain tools in working order -Adhere to safety processes and maintain a positive attitude towards the safety program -Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge. -Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware, using carpenters' hand or power tools. -Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools, or power tools. -Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws. -Perform other related duties as assigned. -Identify problems and conflicts and report to management -Must have own tools Experience: -Minimum 2 years’ experience Physical demands and work environment: -Job requires ability to perform tasks on all areas and aspects of construction project. -Physical demands: Requires ability to climb ladders and scaffolding at various heights; crawling stooping, bending and moving material. Job requires ability to work with various types of electric tools, steel and other materials. Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 80 lbs for up to 50 feet. -Work environment: More than 50% of the time is spent working at job sites. Some driving is required. Exposure to noise, dust, debris and changing weather conditions. Hazards: -Normal hazards associated with construction environment.
