Hi. I have a Female Guinea Pig, Abyssinian, 1.5 year old. She’s sweet, gentle and shy she has been around my children but still shy and a bit timid but will sit in your lap and enjoy you petting her. We can no longer keep her as we didn’t realize when we adopted her that she cannot be fixed (spayed) like cats and dogs, and my daughter wants to keep her male, and we already had a couple unexpected pregnancies and now they just stay separated which probably saddens her.
