Pay range for this position is $16-$20 per hour depending upon education and experience. Must be 21 years old to apply. Maintenance Worker KVC Niles in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a skilled individual who takes pride in their work to join our Maintenance Team. Our Maintenance Workers assist in general repair and maintenance of KVC's buildings and grounds. Duties will include but are not limited to basic electrical and plumbing, drywall repair and painting. Day shift hours, Monday-Friday and an on-call rotation for emergencies. This is a full-time position. Must be at least 21 years of age. Background checks, drug screens and physical will be conducted. Must have a valid driver's license with proof of insurance. Education: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) from an accredited high school. Experience: A minimum of three months experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in general maintenance in a school or hospital environment strongly preferred. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, climb or balance, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
