Six fathers nominated by their community will be honored and recognized in public at our 1st annual Father Of The Year Award breakfast. Iota Chi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., in conjunction with S.C.O.U.P., the non-profit arm of the chapter is hosting it's 1st Annual Father Of The Year Award Breakfast! We are tired of hearing stories of absent fathers when there are many fathers who are present and active in their children's lives. Help us recognize them and tell a different story. You have the opportunity to nominate a Father whom you believe demonstrates through his actions an outstanding commitment to raising his children. A nominee may include natural fathers, adoptive fathers, stepfathers, foster fathers and or grandfathers raising their grandchildren (i.e. acting as their father). These nominees can fall into these categories: 1) A man who has provided and continues to provide reasonable time working toward building family values, growing the family around those values by promoting individual guidance, respect, honesty, responsibility and love. 2) A man, who has provided high ideals of parenting through responsibility, firm guidance, discipline with love and positivity, treats his child/children with respect, honesty, humility. A teacher, good listener and absolutely being involved in the child/children’s life. It's as simple as spending time with your children and creating memories. What a perfect example of a life long memory this child has with his dad . FATHER NOMINATION PROCESS: Please provide the following: 1. Your First and Last Name. 2.
