NORWOOD, March 24 — At a special town meeting tonight In Everett Hall, from 7 to 8, it was voted to establish a permanent fire chief. As there is a "call chief" at the present time, this means that the entire department will have to be organized. It was also voted to buy a combination police patrol and ambulance for the Police Department. At 8 o'clock this meeting was adjourned to April 2 and the adjourned town meeting of last December taken up.
