I don't know about anyone else but if you try to meet up with hard rock or classic metal musicians, bring your cheap gear and dont leave it to play another day. Weirdest freaks out there. People totally f'd up on dope, dont know how to play, or are looking to steal your gear. I get that that style of music appeals to a different crowd, but why do you have to be a total f up to like it ? Its best to watch bands play live ( when it opens ) and chat with them at the venue to see if they know good people. sad state of affairs. Music as an artform is in the gutter.
