Job Posted by: A Steady Hand Ltd. www.asteadyhand.org Locations: Gahanna, near Morse &Hamilton Rd. (Morning or Afternoons). Schedule: Weekdays of 9am-3pm, or 3pm-11pm. Overnight Sleep Shifts, but not required for application. Full-time or Part-time: $13-$15 per hour, PAID WEEKLY. Life, Dental, Vision, and Short-term Disability Insurance available. Needs: General Supervision, routine-keeping, housekeeping. No medication passing, easy-going consumers without Behavior Support Plans. Responsibilities: Provide supervision for each consumer according to his/her team-developed Individual Service Plan. Assist consumers in meeting their personal goals and daily living skills. Assist each consumer in implementing in-home or community-based activities. (Social Recreation) Administer medications if required, training provided at no-cost to applicant! (Not needed at this home) Advocate for the Health and Safety of consumers and other team members. Provide physical assistance with housekeeping and keeping the home organized. Assisting with in safe transportation for errands and recreation outside of the home. Helping individuals cost compare groceries and other spending activities. Providing support in making sound decisions regarding diet, exercise, and sleep. Ensure our consumers are being hygenic and dressed appropriately for work and Day-Hab. Document time and services rendered accurately and in full Communicate positively with colleagues, consumers, family, and case managers. Perform other duties specific to the ISP or Medical Care Plan, info provided during individual specific training. Application Requirements: (Required by the State of Ohio: Department of Developmental Disabilities) •High School Diploma or equivalent. •Current and valid Ohio Driver License with no more than 6 points on driving record. •Must have valid Car Insurance •No felony convictions as identified and outlined by the Ohio Revised Code. BCI background check required. CPR and First Aid training, can be provided by A Steady Hand if needed at time of hire.
