Corewood Ventures is an established family owned site work contractor currently hiring and accepting resumes for the incoming season. Asphalt Laborer position available. Excellent communication and observation skills needed. Must be able to work as part of a team. Experience as part of a paving crew with knowledge of general laborer duties associated with asphalt paving, patching or prep. Knowledge of road and traffic regulations. Ability to work for long hours in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods of time. Required ability to shovel, rake, and handle other tools and equipment. Willing and able to perform other duties as assigned and have a strong work ethic. OSHA 10 and up is a plus. 40 hours a week minimum. Willing and able to comply with our company safety and drug policy. Valid NYS driver’s license is a must. Willing and able to travel locally with reliable transportation. At least 2 references required for applicant. Pay is based on experience and knowledge. 401K and health insurance available. Responsibilities: Offloading and gathering equipment and tools for the job Asphalt raking and shoveling in all forms Operating roller and/paver for grading Maintaining cleanliness and packing equipment away at the end of the day To apply, please email resume
