Today, March 18, Dunkin’ will officially unveil its next-generation drive-thru only restaurant, the first in the Greater Philadelphia area, located at 194 N DuPont Highway in New Castle, DE. The drive-thru only Dunkin’ restaurant offers a dual drive-thru and a convenient walk-up window to serve guests and allow those who live and work in New Castle to run on Dunkin’ faster and more conveniently than ever before. In celebration of the opening, the restaurant will offer a FREE Medium Hot or Iced coffee* to guests on Thursday, March 18. To continue the celebration, guests can receive a 99¢ Medium Hot or Iced Coffee** starting Friday, March 19 through Thursday, March 25. This next-generation Dunkin’ restaurant offers guests not only a traditional ordering lane, but also a second, exclusive On-the-Go drive-thru lane that lets DD Perks® members who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App bypass the ordering lane and head straight into the line for the pickup window. Dunkin is the first national restaurant brand to offer this type of drive-thru innovation and convenience to make guest’s Dunkin’ runs hassle-free. To celebrate, the Dunkin’ restaurant will hold a grand opening celebration on Friday, April 2. The celebration will include an official ribbon cutting ceremony, giveaways, and a check donation on behalf of Dunkin’ franchisee Pradip Saha & Parthiban Jayaraman to the local Wilmington Manor Volunteer Fire Company. Faster Than Ever Drive-Thru Experience: In addition to a traditional drive-thru lane, an exclusive On-the-Go drive-thru lane lets DD Perks® members who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App bypass the ordering lane and head straight into the line for the pickup window. Dunkin’ is the first national restaurant brand to offer this type of drive-thru innovation and convenience. Premium Pours: Crew members will use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order. Dunkin’ on Demand: Dunkin’ has also introduced an area dedicated to mobile pickups at the walk-up window so that DD Perks® members who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App can receive their mobile orders faster than ever before. Increased Energy Efficiency: The new Dunkin’ is a DD Green Achievement™ restaurant, which is designed to save 25% more energy compared to a standard Dunkin’ restaurant. The 970 square-foot restaurant employs approximately 14 crew members and is open daily from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. In addition to complimentary Wi-Fi, the Dunkin’ features a convenient dual drive-thru and walk-up window. Currently, the vast majority of Dunkin’ restaurants across the country remain open and have put enhanced preventative health and safety measures in place. Guests can order and pay contactless on the Dunkin’ App for a quick, grab-and-go experience.
